Flatbread

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of sugar

  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast

  • 3/4 cup warm water

  • 2 cups of AP flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/3 cup of plain yogurt

  • 1 teaspoon of oil

Method:

In a bowl we add the sugar, the yeast and the warm water and we let it activate. In a separate bowl, we add the rest ingredients and stir it all together. We add then the wet ingredients. We knead by hand or in a stand mixer until it comes together. We oil it with 1 teaspoon of oil and cover it and let it rest for 1,5 hour. Once it rises, we punch it down an we cut it into 6 equal pieces. We roll out each piece into a flatbread. We oil a little bit the pan and we cook each flatbread for about a minute or two. Serve with cheese, honey, chocolate, or even souvlaki! Enjoy!
